The Employment Training Panel (ETP) is a business and labor supported California state agency that assists employers in strengthening their competitive edge by providing funds to off set the costs of job skills training necessary to maintain high-performance workplaces.
The potential funding is substantial. Since ETP was created in 1982, roughly $2 billion has been awarded to 100 thousand businesses, for the successful training and employment retention of 1.5 million California workers. Awards can exceed $500k!

The Panel designates industry sectors as “Priority Industry” for purposes of a higher fixed fee reimbursement rate. Priority Industry status does not impact the application process nor does it indicate eligibility or guarantee funding
